Accepted papers will be published in the proceedings subject to advanced regular registration (IEEE member and non member) of at least one (1) of the authors. One registration can cover a maximum of two (2) papers.

NOTE: At least ONE author of each paper must register at a non-student rate by October 6, 2008

Regular registration includes full-day tutorial, welcoming reception, one (1) banquet ticket, lunches, coffee breaks and proceedings CD.

One-Day Fee registration includes lunch, coffee breaks and proceedings CD.

For all categories:
Additional banquet tickets are $90 each.
Additional lunch tickets are $40 each.
Additional welcoming reception tickets are $45 each.

Attention:

  1. IEEE Member rates are only available to individuals who are IEEE members at the time of registration - visit www.ieee.org/join to join. IEEE members will be required to show their valid IEEE membership card at the conference registration desk.
  2. Student registrants (member or non-member) must provide proof of student status by faxing a copy of his/her university identification (ID) card or a letter from the university signed by an official representative verifying student status. Please fax to: +1 312 604 7376 .
  3. Students should be prepared to show their student identification card at the conference registration desk.

Registration Procedure

You may submit your registration online no later than Monday, November 3, 2008. After this date, only on-site registration is possible. Registration by e-mail or phone will NOT be accepted. Please make sure to carefully read all the following information first.

Payment Method

All payments must be made in US Dollars. Registration fees can be remitted by credit card (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, AMEX are acceptable). Pay on-line using your credit card. Your credit card statement will show the charge as: Registration Assistant. You will also receive the official confirmation of registration via e-mail from the BioCAS 2008 registration desk.

Attention:

  • Your confirmation email will serve as your receipt.
  • Each attendee must register separately.
  • Pre-registration payments must be received by October 6, 2008, for the early registration fees to apply; if payment is not RECEIVED by this deadline, you will be responsible for higher rates.
  • You must print the official confirmation of registration e-mail and bring it with you to the on-site registration desk!

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be made in writing, either by fax (+1 312 604 7376) or e-mail (biocas-reg@amg-corp.com). The amount of refund will depend on the date of cancellation, as follows:

A total refund of all prepaid fees will be made, excluding an administration charge of $125, provided that advance written notification is submitted by October 6, 2008. No refunds will be made for cancellations received after October 6, 2008.

Letters of Invitation

Delegates requiring a letter of invitation in order to attend the Conference may write to the Conference Management Office specifying the necessary details. Please note that this procedure aims to assist delegates who need to obtain a visa or permission to attend the Conference. It is not an official invitation covering fees and other expenses and does not imply any financial support from the Conference. According to IEEE policy, payment for registration fees must have been finalized before requesting an invitation letter. Please make sure that in your request to biocas -reg@amg-corp.com for invitation letter you include:

  • Name, postal address, and a valid e-mail address.
  • IEEE Member number, if you are a member of IEEE.
  • Name of session and paper number, if you are presenting a paper.
  • The words “invitation letter request” in the subject field of your e-mail request.

The visa letters will be e-mailed in a printable colored pdf format and will state only the facts:

  • Conference title, dates, and location
  • That the requester has paid the required registration fee in full
  • If the requester is a committee member, speaker, or presenter

Personal Insurance

The organizers cannot be held responsible for accidents to conference participants or accompanying persons, for damage or loss of their personal property, or for cancellation expenses, regardless of cause. Participants should therefore, make their own insurance arrangements. Please consult with your local insurance sources regarding coverage.
